I understand that the standard procedure is to order through the funeral home website, but this time, the service took place at a church with little notice. Sympathy Store/HelloFlowers was incredibly accommodating and promptly reached out to me to clarify some questions about the next-day delivery. When I realized I had provided them with incorrect information, I called back that evening to update it. They were able to make the necessary change right away, which was such a relief. This arrangement was beautiful with fully bloomed white roses and white Lillies that were eye catching. It has the perfect amount of greenery that allowed the white to really take the show. There was a perfect amount of smaller white flowers that made the whole arrangement appear full and gleaming white. It’s a perfect classy arrangement for a loved one who was so special! I really appreciated the ribbon we were able to add for $10. The bow sat in the bottom portion of the arrangement with long tail ribbons with the saying we chose, which was “Gone Fishin.” I was very happy with how our arrangement turned out. It was very much like the picture shown and we had no issues with delivery. The price was just right on this arrangement. Ordering was quick and simple and I’m thankful for the smooth and easy process when we ordered just 2 days before the funeral.

The flowers I received looked nothing like the picture it was half the size and not the same the stand was made of cheap wood. $185 dollars for something that looked like I could have gotten at Safeway for cheaper. I feel like they just cheated me out. This did not look good at the funeral.

Horrible overall experience. We made our purchase by phone to ensure there were no misunderstandings, and that went very well. When we arrived at the funeral many people were there, allot of flowers had arrived, but not ours. We called to find the status and asked that we receive a follow up text. We promptly received at follow response that originated from the local florist which said that because our arrangement was so large it will take two trips. That statement is completely and utterly ridiculous. A compact rental car could carry several similar arrangements in a single trip. Our arrangement did arrive approximately 20 minutes prior to the start of the service. For $200 I expect a florist to deliver without made up excuses. We purchased the Sentiments of Serenity Spray for the published price of $160 but after fees, delivery, taxes it totaled $200. It looked small when next to other arrangements.

Thanks for the timely delivery. The only service that would really make this process special is a picture of the actual arrangement after delivery. The ribbon was not a bow but a single ribbon draped from the arrangement. Which explains the limited number of letters that could be printed on it. Being a cut arrangement the lilies were a bit droopy by the time of the service. Recommend misting them in the wait time.

Customer service at The Sympathy Store is amazing. There was a glitch in obtaining enough white flowers at florists in the small town where my friend's funeral was taking place. I received two calls from
the Sympathy Store to make sure I was ok with the substitutions they were forced to make. In this time when nobody seems to be responsible for anything, it was a welcome change from other experiences I have had. I would happily use The Sympathy Store again.

I applaud the professionalism. I received emails after each stage from ordering to having this spray delivered. The spray was slightly different from the picture. The one delivered appeared to have fewer flowers and did not appear to be as full as in the picture. I could not see the ribbon (viewed online), so I trust that the engraving was done. I was surprised by all the extra charges that brought the cost to over $211.

Sadly my brother-in-law passed, and we wanted to send the most beautiful flowers we could find. We received a link to the obituary, giving us the option of ordering flowers from the local florist. We received emails telling us it would be delivered, and that it WAS delivered when specified! What a peace of mind that was! First the flowers are very nice and high quality. I had my son took a picture of the spray. So the purchase is great. I think the web site of purchasing flowers directly from the home is an excellent idea as well. It gives you option of putting your names there to help the family to know that the purchaser is thinking of them. The only negative is the quoted pricing. Most people would like to have the service charge of $20 to be shown upfront not at the end of the billing.

I was unable to be there, so I wanted the flowers to be there for the family visitation. I sent an email asking for delivery the same day I ordered, instead of before the funeral service the next day. The florist prepared and delivered the flowers as I asked, and did so with excellence.

The flowers were fine for the Friday visitation but were wilted by the 2 PM funeral the next day. The flowers and greenery were either past their prime to start or were poorly handled. Very Disappointing.

Ordered flowers in the morning and they were delivered early afternoon. They even hand wrote the card based on what my typed message was. I thought that was nice. The flowers were identical to the flowers on the website I chose. This is rare and I was so thrilled when I saw them in person myself. I highly recommend them based on my internet experience.
